Personality
Ash's Mijumaru is a proud pokémon, often boasting about his abilities even if he can't back them up. Yet, he is very kind and always willing to help Ash out in a pinch. Mijumaru is also a bit of an attention grabber, and is jealous of Ash's relationships with other pokémon, especially Pikachu. There have been several instances when he would either push Pikachu off of Ash's shoulder or pop out of his pokéball to participate in battles not meant for him. Mijumaru also often lacks the confidence to perform well in battle, usually resulting in him stumbling across the battlefield or not performing a move well. Recently, however, Mijumaru seems a bit more keen to battle. He is very protective of his scalchop, both in and outside of battle, and panics when he loses it or if it is knocked away from him.
